Brief Project Description:

The Bulk cargo warehouse will be used for storage and re-baging of different commodities (Imported in Bulk) from other parts of the world.

They will include:

  • Rice
  • Sugar
  • Cement
  • Ferterlizer

These commodities will then be branded, bagged and re-exported within Gambia and West Africa sub regional markets. It will also serve other nation states and private enterprises in the region, especially where we already have exclusive mandates and supply agreements. 

The warehouses will also be used to export Cotton, Cotton Seed, Ground Nut and other commodoties to Western Europe and Brazil, where we already have a supplier agreement.

Finally, negotiations are already undergoing between Invest Gambia and a World-renowned Motor Manufacturer for a five-year supply of wood pallets and wood residues. Potential partners can also benefit from this project too.
