I also want to thank the Government for their support to Invest Gambia’s recent trade trade delegation to Brazil, I am therefore please to announce that the trip was successful indeed. I sincerely would like to thank Ambassador Gibril seaman Joof (The Gambia High Commissioner to London) as well as his line of ministry (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) for accompanying and supporting my delegation; a clear manifestation of the never ending support from the Government of the Gambia to Invest Gambia. Whilst in Brazil, we visited Sao Paolo and Brasilia where we were accompanied by our host AGROVIP and also met with key decision makers in the Brazilian government...I am grateful for all the support. At the end of the visit, Invest Gambia and AGROVIP were able to sign a USD23Million multi-development joint venture pack (Bulk-Cargo Warehousing, Agricultural development, Cargo logistics and Tourism development). I therefore look forward to work very closely with AGROVIP in years ahead.  |

Therefore, as we championed the VISION 2020, WE are all part of a family rather than a hierarchy. Each stakeholder is empowered to run their own affairs, yet help one another; thereby, solutions to problems come from all kinds of sources. In a sense we are a community, with shared ideas, values, interests and goals. The proof of our success is real and manifested in our daily activities towards the achievement of vision 2020. Invest Gambia’s presence at the global markets remains very strong and a backbone to our success, I will therefore continue to build Invest Gambia that is even more deep rooted locally whilst paving way to compete globally. In doing so, I will continue to attract Billions of dollars of Foreign Direct Investment into the Gambia’s economy. |

Henceforth, Invest Gambia will continue to work with all national stakeholders in championing the creation of Employment opportunities, capacity building in our healthcare sector, supporting a tourism thriving nation/industry, whilst leveraging the needed investment across our various industries, to creating a competitive knowledge base economy; we will continue to invest in our national agricultural revolution, breakthrough infrastructure development projects, to sustainable creation of well diverse and sustainable economy. It sounds simple, and in some ways it is, but there is also much stifling complexity. I recognise that our past and future success is the result of our hard working, unparalleled team of talented employees and stake holding partners who take great deal of sacrifice. Invest Gambia continues to benefit from their breadth and depth of intellectual and technical expertise each day from our numerous operations.
